These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of our membership products and services. teleMom LLC (“teleMom,” “us” or “we”) provides products and services via www.telemom.com (the “Website”). teleMom utilizes SMS text, phone, and video to deliver reliable, convenient, compassionate, and empathetic support tailored to each individual's unique understanding of motherly advice (the “Services”). For purposes of clarity, the services are provided by non licensed individuals, employed by or contracted by teleMom. teleMom is not a provider of healthcare or mental health services; rather, teleMom creates a comforting space where all can receive the guidance and reassurance they need, fostering well-being and a sense of connection and care.
Details about our privacy practices are available in our Privacy Policy. By using the products and services, you acknowledge that you are also subject to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.
teleMom is a service designed to provide general advice and emotional support in a non-emergency context. It is important to understand that teleMom is not equipped to handle emergencies or situations requiring immediate intervention. If you are experiencing an emergency or believe that you or someone else is in immediate danger, please call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.
- For mental health emergencies, such as suicidal thoughts, severe emotional distress, or a mental health crisis, please contact a crisis hotline or go to the nearest emergency room. 1. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing, accessing, or using our membership products and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you are prohibited from using our products and services.
2. Membership Plans and Services
We offer various membership plans, including Standard and Premium, each with different levels of access and benefits. Membership is provided on a monthly or annual recurring basis.
teleMom is a digital subscription service that utilizes text, phone, and video to offer reliable, convenient, compassionate, and empathetic support tailored to each individual's unique understanding of motherly advice to members in exchange for a subscription fee. The services include, but are not limited to:
- Immediately connect with a live teleMom via SMS text, phone, or video. Appointments available. Appointments not required.
- 24/7 Support. Our teleMom service is available 24/7 most of the time, with closures on four holidays; Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Closures on listed holidays begin at 0000 MST the day of the holiday and end at 0800 MST the day following the holiday.
- Flexible session credits. Use your session credits as you need them.
- Whether you need just a few minutes or something longer.
- Session credits are used when you speak with a teleMom over phone or video.
- One credit is equal to one minute no matter when you call, scheduled or unscheduled.
- Our premium membership plan includes 60 session credits per month.
- A la carte session credits can be purchased in bundles of 15, 30, 60, 90, and 120 credits.
- Active premium members receive 10% off all a la carte session credit purchases.
- Unused session credits rollover each month.
- Session credits expire 12 months after membership cancellation. Non-members can purchase session credits, those credits expire one year after purchase.
3. User Responsibilities
As a member, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information during the registration process.
- Use our services only for lawful purposes and refrain from any misuse.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You may not:
- Share your membership access with others.
- Reproduce, distribute, or exploit our content without permission.
- Use the service to engage in fraudulent activities.
We encourage all users to uphold certain responsibilities to ensure a respectful and supportive community. Here are some key guidelines around acceptable behavior toward teleMoms:
Respectful Communication:
Polite language: Always use kind and courteous language when interacting with teleMoms.
Constructive feedback: If you disagree with advice, express your opinion in a constructive manner without demeaning or criticizing the teleMom giving the advice.
Active Listening:
Open-mindedness: Be open to the advice shared, even if it doesn’t align with your personal beliefs or experiences. The intention is to offer support and perspective.
Maintain Boundaries:
Respect privacy: Avoid asking overly personal or intrusive questions that may make the provider uncomfortable.
Keep expectations reasonable: Remember that the advice offered comes from a place of experience and care, but it’s ultimately your responsibility to decide what works for your situation.
Avoiding Overreliance:
Self-sufficiency: While teleMoms can offer valuable insights, users should take responsibility for researching and considering multiple sources of advice when needed.
Decision-making: Ultimately, the responsibility for your decisions and actions remains with you. Advice is guidance, not a prescription.
4. Payments and Billing
You agree to pay all fees associated with your membership. The payment method provided will be charged automatically on a recurring basis, according to the plan you have selected.
Billing Cycle: Your membership will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our services. Any price changes will be communicated in advance, and the new price will be applied at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting customer support. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial membership periods unless required by law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and software provided through our services are the property of teleMom. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is strictly prohibited.
7. Communications
Text Messaging:
SMS Terms and Conditions: Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties.
Types of SMS Communications: If you have consented to receive text messages from teleMom, you may receive text messages related to account management, subscription updates, and personalized support from our teleMoms.
Standard SMS Messaging Disclosures:
To stop receiving messages, you may unsubscribe at any time by replying with the keyword "STOP". After sending this message, you will receive a confirmation SMS, and no further messages will be sent to you.

Please note that carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions.
Standard message and data rates may apply for messages sent to and received from teleMom.

You agree that teleMom and those acting on our behalf may call at the phone number you provide us primarily for communication with our teleMoms as part of your membership. This allows you to ask questions, receive personalized advice, and stay connected with our team for support.

We may send you emails concerning our products and services. You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the promotional email itself.
8. Limitation of Liability
We provide our services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for any damages arising from your use or misuse of our services.
